PvE DPS
Level-60 dungeons and the raids that open December 9. One letter per damage spec. Tanks and healers are on their own lists.
ProjectionUpdated 2026-10-01
S
Arcane MageThe spec file says roll Arcane. Every indexed list that ranks it puts it in its own top band.
Affliction WarlockTop-rated DoT engine in the spec file. Three of four indexed lists put it in their top band.
A
Fury WarriorThe Warrior damage spec. Lists put it above Arms. Rage bugs are still open, so this is not proven.
Beast Mastery HunterPet damage and Bestial Wrath. The safe Hunter invite until Survival's melee kit is tested at 60.
Marksmanship HunterAimed Shot and Sniper Shot. Two lists say A. One pre-beta forum post said F. We are not taking the forum post.
Survival HunterHighest ceiling in the Hunter file, and every signature talent is past the point the beta has played.
Assassination RoguePoison uptime on a boss that stands still. The spec file's PvE pick over Combat.
Shadow PriestShadowform and a personal Shadow Weaving. Two lists say A. You are not buffing the other caster.
Elemental ShamanLava Burst and crit damage at the bottom of the tree. The file calls it weak before 40 and real at 60.
Fire MageIgnite and Combustion. A on two lists, F on a forum post. The file says unproven, not bad.
Destruction WarlockConflagrate and Incinerate. A on the indexed DPS lists. Hard casts, so movement hurts.
Balance DruidEclipse and a party crit aura. Light on AoE. A on two lists, and the file does not claim the meter.
B
- Arms WarriorThe file says mid-pack PvE and tells you to pick Fury if raid damage is the only goal.
Combat RogueBlade Flurry for trash. The file sends boss damage to Assassination.
Enhancement ShamanStormstrike and Maelstrom. Rebuilt, and the indexed lists leave it a band under Elemental.
Frost MageIcy Veins says it will not top the meters. Three indexed lists put it at B. Winter's Chill is the invite.
Feral Combat DruidThe file's dungeon call is bear tank, not cat DPS. Cat is the PvP build. Listed here because the role is melee.
C
Subtlety RogueThe file says do not bring it as the raid plan until someone parses it. Opener kit, not a boss kit.
Demonology WarlockRankings are split, including a seller D and a forum A. The file calls it high variance. Not a recommendation.
Retribution PaladinHas a rotation now. The indexed lists still put it in their low band, and the file does not overrule them.
