How to play it

• Send the demon in first (Voidwalker at 10, Succubus at 20 via class quests), then apply Corruption and Bane of Agony; spread DoTs to a second mob once you know your limits.
• Improved Corruption x5 by level 14 makes Corruption instant, and Drain Life arrives at 14 (Icy Veins).
• Do not Demonic Sacrifice until 60: the demon is your damage and tank while leveling (Succubus was the strongest damage demon in Icy Veins' demo, roughly 23-25% of total damage).
• Let DoTs finish enemies instead of casting more; wand finishers were very strong at level 20, though Sep 24 stopped wands scaling with Spell Power, so re-check.
• Use Life Tap only when you can afford the Health, drain to recover it, and keep a few Soul Shards by finishing kills with Drain Soul.
• Take Tailoring and Enchanting, plus First Aid; cooking food now gives bonus XP (Icy Veins).
• Respec to the PvE or PvP build at 60 if you want to swap the Demonology tail; it costs 1 silver in beta (temporary).
